A core wordpress install is the basic process to get a working site up and running – from copying wordpress to your server to creating an administrator account.

What is a page?

A page is a piece of content that applies to your entire site. Example pages include “About” and “Contact”.

What is SEO optimization?

SEO Optimization is the process of ensuring your site can be found by major search engines such as Google and Bing.

What is basic versus premium SEO optimization?

Basic SEO only includes SEO enhanced URL setup. Premium SEO includes sitemaps that are automatically created and submitted to major search engines, automatically generated meta tags, among many other exciting features.

Does my webhost support email?

That depends – if your host is BlueHost, GoDaddy, HostGator or aSmallOrange then yes. Otherwise, your best bet is to send your host an email and ask.

Do you offer ongoing support?

I don’t have a webhost! What do I do?

Where can I find premium themes?

What is a category?

A category is a way of grouping your blog posts. Example categories for a personal site may be “Work Related”, “Personal Life”, “Site Updates” and so on. Example categories for a business site may be “Product News”, “Company News”, “Research” and so on.

When would I use two contact forms?

Most of our customers use one contact form for new leads and the other for general inquiries. Often the new leads form is forwarded to their sales staff for further review.

What is speed optimization?

Speed optimization is an absolute necessity if you plan to add a lot of content to your site. It helps ensure visitors to your site aren’t kept waiting for pages to load. Studies show that if pages take longer than 2 seconds to load, visitors will leave. Don’t let this happen to your site.
